In January, we were down in Southern California, taking the boys to Disney.
We had a few days to spare and spend some time on the coast, which is just like our coast up in Northern California but a leeeeetle warmer. We ended up at a Pinkberry (blame that on Larry David) and next to it, at Fashion Island (the mall’s name) was a Neiman Marcus.
(The Pinkberry was OMG GOOD though. Waiting patiently for the franchise to make it’s way north).
I thought I’d have a stroll through. Just for kicks. Killin’ time.
But I fell in love. This is Marcie:
The Chloe Marcie bag just *sang* to me.
It’s been nearly 2 months, and I just couldn’t let go. Plus my Kooba London, which I adore and have been using daily for 2 years, is way worse for the wear and stating to look kinda Antioch… And… And… I could (try to) justify it all day, but the truth is there’s no justification for a Chloe bag. I wanted it, simple enough. I Pinned it.
Today I went to Nordstrom in Walnut Creek and picked up the Chloe Marcie (Large)! Yay!
Love!
I went with the Large because while I think the small Marcie was actually big enough for my day-to-day needs, the large will fit an iPad and other randoms that pop up in life.
The interior is EXTREMELY minimal, which I don’t care for – it’s one big space for my stuff to get lost in with nothing in the way of dividers or compartments:
The two pockets on either side are REALLY tiny, enough for an iPhone on one side and a Chapstick on the other. So I’ll take the makeup I usually have in my bag – just some powder and a couple of lip colors – and put it in a small makeup bag so it’s not floating around at the bottom of the purse.
What’s more to say? It’s a Chloe bag, for goodness sake. Love it!
