The September 2012 Nordstrom Catalog came in the mail today! Here’s what I loved:
The Frye Lindsay Plate boot has the worn in look that Frye boots are known for. As much as I like them (and I really, really do) I don’t know if they beat my picks in the Top 10 Fall Boots post.
As much as I’m over messengers bags, the Liebeskind ‘Olivia’ Crossbody Bag is so rough, so weekend, I’m totally drawn to it.
It’s got a ton of compartments too, which I love.
This assortment of necklaces really shows off one of the trends I’m loving this season – mixed tones and mixed links. The various shapes, lengths and colors can be found pretty quick on the Nordstrom website, start here for the long link necklace.
I still love my Chloe Marcie, but dang, the Chloe Alice tote gets me all fired up again for a new bag. It’s a little mod, a little 70′s and a little “Doctor” and I love it.
These Lana Jewelry necklaces are the Lana Jewelry Tri Disc Necklace (top two strands you see in the picture) and the Lana Jewelry ‘Gypsy’ Long Disc Necklace. They look great together – a little statement without being too statement-y.
The Charriol Interlocked Cable Bracelet Set, which is elsewhere referred to the Charriol Modern Cable Mix, builds on the trend towards simpler, but a little more industrial jewelry. Adore.
These pieces from David Yurman are all gorgeous, if completely unwearable given the work-at-home life I lead. As lucky as I am to work at home, I never have occasion to get anything “nice.” Strapping that Cable Wrap Extra Large Marquis Enhancer in Smoky Topaz around my neck before setting down at the computer – in my yoga pants – might be a bit much.
Everything about this outfit is perfect. Well, except that I can’t wear it (see above). Is there a hashtag for this? #workathomeproblems perhaps?
The cape (they call it a ruana) is the Parkhurst Desomna, and it’s faux fur, FYI.
She’s wearing Hue Denim leggings in Shitake, Ralph Lauren Fingerless Driving Gloves in Grey Heather and the shoes are the Sam Edelman Louie Boot in Tan Suede.
Finally, the bag is the Pour la Victoire Butler – Large Tote which is structured, two-tone, leathery heaven.
If I bothered to add it all up, my September 2012 Nordstrom catalog favorites would probably add up to around $15,000 worth of merchandise… But it feels good to dream!
